About the Workshops

Come to the Fairy Tale Factory and spend six satisfying weeks reading, writing, eating, breathing, and dreaming fairy tales. Over the course of the workshop you will:

  • Hear and discuss dozens of fairy tales from western Europe
  • Learn new ways to think about fairy tales and (dare we say) your self
  • Learn the mechanics of good storytelling
  • Engage in funny, intelligent conversations about fairy tales, storytelling, psychology, and everything else
  • Write, write, write!

By the end of the workshop you will have at least one polished fairy tale under your belt and the groundwork laid for many more.

Students of all experience levels are welcome. Pre-requisites: Passion for writing, affection for fairy tales.
